why do you question my parenting skills?
don't you know I've been a mother for about,
oh...
13 whole months.
I'm doing the best I can.
My baby is happy and healthy.
She's smart and funny.
She loves to smile and play and laugh.
So what if I let her watch Baby Einstein
while I do homework.
It's not something I do, so I can ignore her
& chat on the phone with my girlfriends.
Sometimes I need her to be entertained so I can write my papers,
do my online tests, shower, ect.
I buy disposable diapers.
Yes, I know they're expensive,
but it's my choice right?
I don't curl her hair when I put it in a pony,
she has barely enough hair to put in a little pony on top of her head
and I don't think she'd sit still enough just quite yet,
it's still cute though.
I warm up her bottles
because she likes them that way.
And let's face it,
I'm a stay-at-home-mommy
with one baby.
I have the time to warm up her bottles
and I
love to.
She gets rocked to sleep every night,
It'll change soon enough.
So what if she's a little spoiled?

we needed to take a breather from school today.
for some reason we both have impossible
professors this semester!
so we decided to get some fresh air

first time..

6 Steps to complete a tunnel
with a 12 month old.

Step 1:
point her in the right direction

Step 2:
make sure to have the same facial expressions.

Step 3:
have a slight anxiety attack.

Step 4:
squeeze daddy through the tunnel
for moral support.

Step 5:
give 1 last little shove
if not we would have been there alllll day.

Step 6:
make sure to lick the tunnel good bye!

Just another
typical day in the life of
Mommy & Avery..

First we play with our hair..

She loves to sit in front of the mirror
while I fix her hair
& paint her toe nails.
She even lets them dry.

Apparently I was meant to have a little girly-girl
to do my girly-girl things with.

Who could say no to this innocent

We got to celebrate Malia at the
Buddy Walk today. It was awesome to see
everyone who came to support these little angels.
