1st time drawing on a wall

After
11 hours
(7 of those being consecutive, pathetic I know..)
of
adding
deleting
editing
moving
spreading
changing fonts, font color, size, ect.
debating on covers, binding, title page, page numbers, headings, footings
collaging (is that a word?)....

I finally was finished with our very own
FAMILY BLOG BOOK!!!
I've been debating on whether or not to do it,
but seeing a fellow blogger's (Tami Ottley)
super cool book,
I was convinced.
And when it came within
4 DAYS of ordering
by the very friendly FedEx delivery man.
I was SO excited!
It was time consuming, frustrating, head-throbbing
and majorly
eye-watering
but
TOTALLY WORTH IT!
check it out.

I LOVE IT.
Now all I have to do is make sure
a little someone
doesn't get her hands on it.....

...every little girl
needs pigtails...

i love having a
girl!

16 months

..i want to freeze time today..

what do you do, when you can't
walk, sit, stand, lay, or breathe
comfortably???

well, apparently I kneel and paint.
and listen to avery giggle at
sesame street.
it makes this '''throwing out your back'' thing,
(which shouldn't be legal until you're like 89)
a little more livable.

my grandma gave this cute little table to me
2 years ago...
and it's finally painted!

and of course, the cute new knob avery
'helped'
me pick out.

good-bye 2009!
hello 2010

this year was by far the best christmas we've ever had.
i love my little family so much.
i've always thought of what it would be like to watch
my own child on christmas
and i loved it.
avery had a blast opening presents.
she's so cute when she opens them, so organized.
(wonder where that comes from???)
it would have taken hours if we didn't 'help' her.
i love her and everything she
brings into our life.
we were so spoiled by our families this year,
we feel so lucky to be able to have so much family so close,
i love that avery has so many people that love her.

the only sad thing about the holidays this year was
that i had to say goodbye to 2 of my sisters who moved far away.
i miss my bff's.
but we love them and are excited for their new
adventures!

and of course, what would christmas be without a
grumpy/sickly/sleepless/grouchy baby right???

we're so excited for what the year
2010
is going to bring us.
we're looking forward to:

• 2 graduations
• getting accepted to Law School
• moving
  
• overcoming some obstacles with adding to our family
• new job
  
• attending the temple more often
• avery being old enough to go to nursery
• and who knows what else!
