This past weekend, we went to Des Moines, IA with our friends Chris & Tani! We were so excited to get out of Omaha for a few days.
Tani's parents live there & were so nice to let us come! The second night we were there another family came, the Walker's & we had a blast getting to know them too!
I met Tani through Katie & am so glad I did, this girl is awesome!
And luckily even though our hubby's had never met, they got along great.
We ate great food, stayed up way too late chatting, played games,
& hot-tubbed it up, even baby
Jax got in the hot tub & L.O.V.E.D it! He was so
relaxed after both times, he slept the best he ever has!
We totally need a hot tub....
Avery met their sweet puppy, Moose, & was entertained all weekend!
It was SO FUN, hopefully we can go back soon!

we drove past these windmills & they reminded me of home, they're HUGE!
And where's Avery you ask? She was having a hard time
leaving...& threw a fit for about an hour as we packed & cleaned up...
so she's sitting in the car waiting for us.
